Official Southampton v Brighton & Hove Albion Match Programme with Original Match Ticket
The Dell, Southampton
Football League Division One
Tuesday 5th April 1983 – Kick-off 7.30pm
A fantastic original Southampton home programme from the 1982–83 First Division season, complete with its original match ticket from The Dell, making this a much more desirable collector's piece.
The programme includes team news, player features, photographs, Brighton squad information, club articles and period advertisements, providing a wonderful snapshot of English football during the early 1980s.
The included original ticket helps preserve the complete matchday experience and makes this an excellent addition for collectors of Southampton FC, Brighton & Hove Albion, The Dell memorabilia, vintage football programmes and First Division history.
This programme comes from my late grandmother's carefully preserved collection. She loved collecting pieces of British history and kept them safely for decades. It is a pleasure to pass these originals on to collectors who will appreciate both their history and the memories they represent.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with light age-related wear consistent with use and careful storage. The original match ticket is included as shown. Pages remain clean and securely bound.
Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
This is an original 1983 Southampton match programme with original ticket, not a reproduction.
Your programme and ticket will be placed in protective packaging and posted securely between rigid cardboard with DO NOT BEND protection to ensure they arrive safely.

Own a little piece of history ❤️

If you enjoy treasures with stories, please have a browse through my other listings — I upload new finds every day.

I’m currently selling my grandmother’s incredible lifetime collection of souvenirs and antiques to help fund a new roof and lovingly restore her beautiful home 🏠.

She was an air hostess in the 1940s and 50s, travelling the world and bringing back unique pieces from every corner ✈️. She later married my grandfather — the pilot she fell in love with in the skies — and together they continued collecting unusual, charming, and historic items.

In the 1960s she became an antiques dealer in her own right, running her business with passion right up until she retired at the grand age of 92.

Now I’m carefully sorting through everything she treasured, hoping these pieces bring you the same joy and nostalgia they brought to my grandparents for so many decades.

Thank you so much for looking — it means the world. 💛
