Spode Pattern 1220 Hand Painted Imari Style Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1815

Antique British bone china tea cup and saucer. Decorated in Spode's pattern 1220 with hand painted Imari / Japan style flowers in orange, cobalt, and gold. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked except for the pattern number 1220 on the bottom of the cup. Circa 1815.

Has some crazing typical of bone china, wear to the gilding, a crack through the bottom of the handle, and 3 tight cracks extending off the edge of the saucer.

The cup measures approximately 4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
