Antique German copper monogram embroidery stencil, AP, small 3.5”

Dating to the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1920), these copper stencils were traditionally used for marking fine household linens, embroidery layouts, leather tooling guides, bookbinding, and decorative artisan work. Copper was the preferred material due to its durability, resistance to rust, and ability to hold crisp, detailed cuts.
