Vintage: 9 ½’ GRANGER SPECIAL SPLIT BAMBOO FLY ROD (VERY STRAIGHT). The rod is a 3 piece 2 tip fly rod in beautiful condition. Ferrules are very tight (They might need a little cleaning). All sections are the same length. 3-3 node looks great. There is a little stain under 2 of the guides on the tip section, nothing to take away how great this rod looks. It’s ready to fish if you want too! Just a great looking fly rod! The photos make the wraps look more yellow than green for some reason. When I restored this rod many years ago I used original Granger Green thread! I’m down to my last spool of this color!!! Saving it for something special for sure…. Sorry about any glare! FORM A QUESTION I ANSWERED:   Not sure of the line weight. The female ferrule on the butt section is a 18mm. On the mid-section the male is 18mm. And the female is a 13mm. I used a tip gauge to measure them. Using a dial caliper the mid-section male is .295 and the tip section male is .200 dia. I would think it's for heavy trout but that's just my guess. Hope this helps.
