Description

“Music of the Future- Now a Reality”. A look back at the Syntronic project based at the new WCAU building in Philadelphia. Ivan Eremeeff began a collaboration with Leopold Stokowski with the aim of creating an all-electronic orchestra equipped with thirty five connected electronic instruments designed by Eremeeff.

  • The Syntronic Organ was a photo-electric type instrument controlled by two manual keyboards each controlling its own sound producing unit and was able recreate all the instruments of the orchestra and numerous new sound effects.
