For sale is a rare vintage model of the legendary Tupolev TU-144, the Soviet supersonic passenger aircraft often known as the “Soviet Concorde.”
This is not a plastic kit or assembled hobby model. It appears to be a factory-made aluminum souvenir/display model, produced in Ukraine during the Soviet era. The model has a beautiful streamlined shape, long delta wings, Soviet-style markings, and a Ukrainian flag decal added on the tail.
The aircraft is mounted on a clear acrylic display stand with a curved transparent support element, giving it a dynamic “take-off” look. A very decorative and unusual piece for collectors of aviation, Soviet design, space age objects, industrial souvenirs, or Cold War memorabilia.
The model shows age-related wear, small scratches, light discoloration, and signs of handling. The acrylic base/support also has scratches and wear from age. Please study all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
A very interesting and rare collectible item connected with Soviet aviation history and Ukrainian industrial production.
