Antique American coin silver tongs with repousse shells on either side and acorn tips. Hallmarks for Cleveland & Post, Norwich, Connecticut, circa 1812 to 1815.
Has some wear and tarnish and also has old repairs.
Measures approximately 2 1/2 inches wide x 6 1/2 inches long.
