Our U notch design allow a clear view through the top of the mount all the way down to your front sight. * You will NOT be able to see thru the bottom section of mount when your optic is installed on to the mount. DOES NOT INCLUDE RED DOT OPTICS SHOWN ABOVE (FastFire or UTG red dot optics).
Mounts to 1964 ~ 1981 Model 94s top eject models and all Model 1892 with two small plug screws on the left side of the receiver.
Also fits 94’s and Angle Eject models (starting in 1983) that have been tapped for two #6-48 screws with .405” (center to center). Winchester RANGER models (top eject), normally DO NOT have these two plug screws installed from the factory.
This will not fit MOST Winchester 94 XTR Series Big Bore. They have larger receivers.
HOWEVER, we have received emails and feedback from very happy customers that modified our mount (removed material from the right side) to custom fit their XTRs. Sorry, we cannot offer a refund once you've altered the mount.
This mount will NOT FIT on Model 71 and 1886 receivers.
Standard low profile 3 rail Picatinny rail.
Includes mount, (2) high quality standard slot screws, and a stainless steel elevation set screw with soft tip (includes 1/16" Allen wrench).

INSTALLATION TIP: Using a cartridge caliber specific laser or a muzzle/arbor laser device is VERY handy.
1. Place the UNLOADED rifle (Empty chamber and magazine tube) into a bench rest or secured within
bags with the hammer forward and your finger off the trigger.
2 Project and point the laser in a safe direction out to around 30 feet or more if possible.
3. Simply adjust your dot optic to cover the projected laser dot.
You will most likely need to loosen the two side mounting screws to allow adjustment
for the top ELEVATION screw.
4. You are now ready for fine tuning at the range.
