Zircons are some of the oldest stones on the planet. The finest and best deposits of Zircon stones come from Madagascar and Canada. The colour of Zircon Crystals varies and may be red, orange, yellow, green and brown but many of these have been heat treated to get these colours. The most common untreated stones are brownish red to brownish yellow.

Metaphysical Properties:

This stone embodies a strong healing energy and has an effective spiritual grounding vibration. They are known as a 'stone of virtue' as they help to balance the virtuous aspects within you. These crystals are both common and uncommon at the same time. While they really are quite common stones, not all crystal shops carry them.

This is because the stones that are really beautiful are snapped up for the jewellery trade, while the rest may be overlooked... as many do not have the look that some people associate with a beautiful crystal. Yet once you use Zircon crystals of any grade, you will appreciate their strong spiritual aspect. This is an excellent stone to stimulate your strength of purpose.
