Japanese albumen print from the Meiji period (1868-1912) featuring the Atago Shrine in Tokyo with 4 priests standing in courtyard. Originally hand-tinted, only tinting that remains is red robes of priests and slight green in trees. Rear of photo states  "tinting washed off". Very rare piece of history with Shinto priests.
