Hi, and welcome to the auction for my 2009 Mini Cooper S convertible.

Loads of history with this car and £000's spent over the years with receipts and history dating back to 00
This is the 1.6 petrol turbo Cooper S. Since owning the vehicle I have carried out the following:

Everything works on the car, electric roof is smooth and leak free. Car comes with 12 months MOT. Please check the MOT online tool to look at any advisories/MOT history.
Wind deflector also present, and included in sale.

*Note, the bike is located on the Isle of Wight (Yarmouth) -  but can collect prospective buyers for viewing/collection at Yarmouth ferry terminal (from Lymington) and at buyers expense, I am happy to bring it to the mainland and meet the buyer at Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington ferry terminals once payment agreed/made due to the ferry cost.

Viewing is welcome before the auction end. Thanks for looking & happy bidding

A few other things to note - apologies I missed this on the original description. The car will occasionally show a code P1497. This does not show on the main EML but sometimes comes up under hard acceleration, the vehicles 'driveability' doesn't change. P1497 =downstream throttle air leak in your Mini Cooper. This means that there is an issue with the air intake system after the throttle body. I haven't had time to investigate this further, as I say, it only shows on hard acceleration - and intermittently. The handbrake light also occasionally stays on when the handbrake is down - but with no warning sounds etc. May be a sticky switch. I have changed practically the entire cooling system on this car - these N14 engines do run hot as standard, and you will occasionally get an amber light for engine temp which goes out as soon as the fan kicks in.

My apologies to the bidders and watchers, just wanted to give some notice that I’m looking to remove the car from eBay temporarily. I am looking to fix the cooling issue, and unfortunately this won’t be done prior to the auction end. I simply can’t sell it as is, and not willing to sell as ‘spares/repairs’ at a huge loss.
