An antique sterling silver tumbler cup, with enamel shipping scene and gilt wording "British Guiana".

The latin motto of British Guiana (now Guyana) is also written: 'Damus petimus que vicissim'.

This piece dates from the latter half of the 19th Century. 

The cup is made from heavy-gauge silver. The interior is gilt.
