**Full Description:**
Offered is a substantial antique Chinese oxblood / sang-de-boeuf glazed porcelain vase, mounted as an ornate gilt-metal two-light table lamp. The porcelain body has a rich deep ruby, burgundy, and plum-red glaze with attractive mottling and glaze movement throughout.
The vase itself measures approximately 17⅞ inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and is fitted into a decorative gilt-metal base and collar system. The lamp hardware is notably more sophisticated than a standard lamp conversion, featuring two opposing tilting sockets with individual pull chains, adjustable shade/socket height, adjustable central finial height, and a multi-piece fitted collar/rim mount system. The gilt-metal base has pierced scrollwork, figural supports, floral decoration, and a strong late 19th to early 20th century decorator appearance.
The full lamp body measures approximately 11 inches wide. Height adjusts from approximately 31 inches tall at the lowest setting to approximately 40 inches tall at the highest setting. The finial measures approximately 2.5 inches tall.
