Offering for sale a beautiful handmade quilt. This was a given to me at least 15 years ago but I just never was able to use it.  It has been in storage & now I just don`t have the room to keep it any longer. So, even tho it`s pre-owned, it has never been used.

This is a called a biscuit (or puff) quilt. Size is 66" x 78". My photo shows it on a queen bed..just on the top..there is no over hang on a queen mattress.  So there would be overhang on a full mattress  & definitely on a twin

Made up of 1800 biscuits..each being 1 1/2" square & 3/4" to nearly an inch of puff . I can`t imagine stuffing all those little biscuits! 

 Each little cotton biscuit has been stuffed with (I`m assuming) poly fiber fill. Lots of multi color flower biscuits.

Since the soft pink backing is a solid piece it is possibly a sheet & could be poly cotton itself vs all cotton. One or the other. 

Hand tied with pink cotton thread. 

My personal method for cleaning quilts (not old ones of course) is wash on gentle cycle.. line dry &  then air fluff in dryer if needed.  NO heat! 

It`s just lovely. The lady that made it was very meticulous in all she did and seeing this proves it. I don`t see any imperfections at all.  I know my photos don`t do it justice.

It`s time to give it a new home to someone that will love  & enjoy it!

I use a dressmakers tape for my measurements..keep in mind, however, tapes & rulers, etc. can vary as much as an inch sometimes.
