The Dundas Jafine PCLT4WZW ProClean Dryer Duct Lint Trap is a secondary in-line lint filtration device for 4" electric dryer duct systems, designed to intercept lint that passes through the dryer's built-in lint screen before it accumulates inside the transition duct or exhaust duct run. The unit installs directly onto the 4" dryer transition duct between the dryer exhaust outlet and the in-wall duct, with two included galvanized steel worm gear clamps securing both collar connections without additional hardware. The front-access lint collection chamber opens for easy removal and cleaning of collected lint, allowing routine maintenance without disconnecting the duct. By reducing lint accumulation inside the duct system, the PCLT4WZW helps maintain proper airflow through the dryer exhaust path, supporting dryer operating efficiency and reducing the conditions that contribute to dryer duct fire risk.
