The ICM Controls ICM493 is an advanced single-phase line voltage monitor with built-in surge suppression, designed to protect valuable HVAC equipment from costly damage caused by voltage fluctuations, transients, and lightning-induced power surges. Featuring a bank of five line-to-line surge arresters and an integrated 40A contactor, the ICM493 installs easily between the service disconnect and the condensing unit. Housed in a NEMA Type 3R rated metal enclosure, it is built to withstand outdoor environments and is ideal for mini-splits, condensing units, pool and spa equipment, marine applications, RVs, and other valuable single-phase equipment. UL Listed and backed by a limited lifetime product warranty with up to $10,000 connected equipment coverage for 3 years.
