A rare and interesting Shew 'Euxit Patent" Camera.


For  6x9cm exposures on Glass plates.


This is a most uncommon camera.

Fitted with Compound shutter into which is mounted a  4 1/2 Inch TTH Cooke Series III Focussing Lens

Operationally everything is in very good order.


I would say it has signs of light to normal use and age, but has just come out of long term collection so not recently used or serviced.


If the front finder frame is pulled up, it can be inadvertently lifted out of the clamps, and one clamp has half of the retaining tube missing. These are minor points to note.


Some signs of wear externally, but it is a very attractive camera.
