The 2024 Spanish Grand Prix special edition driver cap as worn by Fernando Alonso across his home race weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Brand new with tags, still in its original retail polybag, with the full Aston Martin Aramco F1 hangtag attached.
This was a one-race-only special edition produced by stichd for the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team to coincide with the 2024 Spanish GP - Alonso's home race and one of the most celebrated dates on the F1 calendar for the two-time World Champion. The colourway is a vibrant Spanish-inspired sunrise gradient running from pale yellow at the crown down through orange to a deep red at the brim - a direct reference to the colours of the Spanish flag and the summer light of Catalunya in early June. The cap was offered only during the 2024 Spanish GP window and has since been discontinued from the official Aston Martin F1 store.
Five-panel structured cap construction in 100% recycled materials (excluding trims and decorations) per stichd's responsible sourcing programme. The front carries the Aston Martin wings logo and FORMULA ONE Team wordmark in HD white print. The right brim face carries the large outlined number 14 in white - Alonso's career number. To the right of the brim is the Alonso signature with his distinctive arrow flourish and the ALONSO wordmark. The left side panel carries the aramco title sponsor wordmark in white. The right side panel carries the Valvoline V logo in white. The rear panel carries the BOSS wordmark embroidered in white - Hugo Boss being the official Aston Martin F1 Team outfitter. Yellow crown button, orange contrast stitching throughout, orange ventilation eyelets on each side panel. The underbrim features laser-perforated detail with a small Spanish flag pictogram printed near the edge. AMF1 jacquard taping runs through the interior sweatband. Adjustable black fabric strap-back closure with plastic clip adjuster.
Authentication is via the full stichd licensing chain. The interior woven label is the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team co-branded stichd tag. The care label confirms manufacture in the Philippines under stichd Sportmerchandising B.V. (The Netherlands), Reg. no. 63490137, VAT NL855256305B01. The retail hangtag carries the full SKU - AMF1 RP SE ALONSO BARCELONA CAP, style code 701231137 001, EAN 8 719203 471877 - alongside the stichd hologram authentication square. A secondary Chinese QC tag confirms FZ/T 82002-2016 stitched headwear standard compliance and GB 18401 B grade Aston Martin trademark certification. A stichd disclaimer card confirms the gradient sunrise dye is an intentional individually-treated print finish, not a defect, and explains the dedicated wash instructions to preserve it.
