Ti2000 achieves high hardness and high stress capacity through the addition of Cu, Ni, and Ti, without compromising atmospheric durability, resistance to spring sag, corrosion resistance, or resistance to delayed fracture.

By using Ti2000 material with a high allowable stress, it is possible to design suspension springs with a smaller diameter and fewer coils. Under the same conditions (four wheels per vehicle for the Altezza SXE10), we have successfully reduced the weight of the Ti2000 to 7.0398 kg, compared to 9.3594 kg for the conventional product. This represents a weight difference of 2.3196 kg—a staggering 24.7% reduction. Just like lightweight aluminum wheels, reducing unsprung weight has a significant positive effect on driving performance.
