Extra large Hildewinteria Colademoninis Monkey tail cactus 7 stems 12cm pot

These are very established plants and have very long stems. Just long enough so they don't get damaged in transit.

Hildewinteria Colademoninis is a rarely available trailing cactus with stems covered in very fine spines which actually feel like fur to the touch. Because of the soft hairs the plant actually looks like a monkeys tail. The more sunlight this plant can receive the better. The plants will actually get a lot hairier when they are exposed to more sunshine as this offers protection to the main stem.

When the plant gets established you will be rewarded with peachy pink orchid looking flowers which will appear on the stems which can measure up to 1 m long on very established plants. As the stems get larger them will develop more hairs.

As with all cacti it is important to let the soil completely dry between watering. During the growing season it is recommended to water fortnightly but only when the soil has completely dried out. We also recommend using a slow release fertiliser when the growing season starts which is usually the end of March until the end of October. During the cooler months it is recommended to water about every five weeks as it takes a lot longer for the soil to completely dry out.

Plants provided will be with seven stems and a similar size to the first photo, but obviously with seven stems.
