I, as a seller, & you, as a collector of pottery/stoneware,
etc. know that no 2 pieces are produced alike i.e. variations in color, design
variations, factory abnormalities specks/flecks/glazed over spots/indentions,
etc. May be scuffing marks on bottoms from movement, storage, or display
or utensil marks. Factory glazed: hairlines, pin points, pop ups (some pop ups
bust), raised flecks, flecks of other paint colors on opposite paint colors,
blue or black pin point dots, out of order color “paint smudge”, out of line
straight line colors, incomplete lines of color, brown spots (like age spots on
humans), rubs, utensil marks, marks from items being stacked inside of each
other or next to each other. Factory color variation: I have seen hundreds of
pieces of America & the lids vary in color to the bases--even when ordering
from co. (early production vs. later). (They do not match Village either
which is close in color to this pattern.) Some crazing undetectable in
normal lighting or high density camera (discounted before listing). If pumps
are present, they vary in size and style according to the proposed ingredient
i.e. mustard/ketchup. If bumpers are required same diameter & thickness
will be used, but maybe not brown...clear. If stoppers are required,
stoppers will fit, but may not be same style. Some pieces even though
straight from the Company show crazing if placed in abnormal lighting (outside
in sun shine or under high wattage lightbulbs.)
Items are maintained in a smoke-free & pet-free
environment.
Items sometimes dishwasher cycled, hand-washed, or wiped clean,
but possible for me to miss areas. I will leave the finer details to you.
Sometimes excessive cleaning especially with certain products will do more harm
than good. If there are Company tags on the items, I will try to remember to
remove them & clean the glue residue.
Please note & adhere to safety: Some packages may
contain very small pieces & packaging material that may be harmful to very
small children, i.e. choking hazard, suffocating, etc.

In order to participate in the recycling effort, generally use all
types of boxes. Item factory boxes do not have enough space for additional
packing material and are not strong so most of the time are packed within the
outside mailing box.

regulations/specifications.
