This is a stainless batter stud kit for a GM side post battery. It solves lots of problems from needing to hook up extra accessories, high compression race car engines, car stereo amp hookups, aux power boxes, etc....

It has been test fitted on my personal Grand National it the fit is excellent!  It comes with enough fasteners to do both sides of the batteries. That way high demand loads that need hot and ground like winches can have a solid connection on the full circuit.

This kit is far superior to hose 'gold' plated brass pieces that only have about 3 threads biting into the soft battery lead. (if you've ever stripped out a perfectly good battery you'll know what I mean).  This kit is designed more like a set of head studs.   The stainless stud gets screwed all the way to the bottom of the battery so that all the threads are used. That helps with not only strength but electrical conduction as well. Then the cable is put in place and locked down with the large hex.  Instead of using that puny special tool (or channel locks) it can be be tightened down with a socket or a normal wrench. The threads will get pulled down in the battery in a straight line instead of getting twisted.  After that, any accessories or extra grounds can be placed on the end and capped off with the stainless bolt.  Two ring terminals are included but any 3/8" ring can be used.

These work especially well with a race car, anything that gets a jump box, or a car that spends a lot of time on a trickle charger. The exposed hex boss makes for an easy place to hook up charger leads or jumper cables.  They also make hooking up a winch a breeze.

Note: On my GN, I've been running this exact kit for years and there isn't the first spec of corrosion on any of the stainless connections.  I got a good deal on my Optima red top (shown) because someone at the auto parts store stripped out the side posts....  My stud kit was all it took to lock down my cables and use it with no problem.  These fasteners are not Chinese junk, they flat out work.

 This is not a cobbled together assortment of Chinese parts that are 'close enough'. This is a show quality kit that will look and work great on a stocker all the way up to to a show winner!
