This is for the 86~87 intercooled cars and the 89 TTA.
If you need a new thermostat, one can be found here. This is the housing and O-ring that's a direct replacement for the rusty sheet metal factory unit.
If you're ever noticed the crud that they thermostat o-ring has to drag over, you know how bad it is to change the factory one out. Since this one is aluminum, there's no galvanic corrosion when it touches the factory aluminum intake.
Plus it's lighter and prettier too!!
