4 Vintage Mahjong Tile Racks with Hinged Lids – Black Lacquer Ware Hand Painted

Beautiful black lacquerware (lacquer ware) finish featuring hand-painted opposing dragons breathing flames. The colours are vibrant and are painted with a slightly raised textured design.

The racks are in good vintage condition with some chips, marks and wear commensurate with age and use. Overall they display a very attractive aged patina. Some of the lacquer chips would benefit form a touch-up.

All hinges are original, complete, and functioning correctly.

Each rack measures approximately 42cm × 7cm × 3.5cm.

Ideal for completing a vintage Mahjong set, collectors, display, or restoration projects.
