Vintage Minolta Auto 22 electronic flash unit for film cameras. This compact shoe-mount flash features an adjustable ASA/DIN dial on the side for manual exposure control and a standard hot shoe connection. It comes with its original black protective leather-style carry case embossed with the Minolta logo. The unit has a textured black finish and is marked 'Made in Japan'. Please note there is some visible oxidation/corrosion on the battery contacts inside the compartment and on the battery door, as shown in the photos.
