2026 $1 Six Roos Coin Roll of 20 UNC coins

Struck by the Royal Australian Mint to celebrates 60 years of decimal currency.

Created by Stuart Devlin – the man who designed Australia’s original decimal coinage – the traditional Mob of Roos $1 features five kangaroos. An inspired concept, the Mint has added a SIXTH kangaroo to the classic Mob of Roos motif, with the newcomer seen bounding across the top of the coin.Each Roo represents one of the six decades since decimal currency was launched in 1966.

The Mint will strike the unique Mob of Six Roos $1 type ONLY in 2026. In 2027, the $1 coin will revert to the classic Mob of Five Roos $1 motif.
