Book introduction
An innovation in Taekwondo Poomsae books that even allow you to watch videos using your smartphone!
Taekwondo Poomsae is a set of movements that are performed according to a set format in order to practice Taekwondo alone. Since the form and movements are set, the connection between each movement is important. The power of Taekwondo martial arts is realized only when the connection reaches a natural and skilled state. The ‘Taekwondo Official Poomsae Commentary’ published in 2007 was loved by many Taekwondo practitioners. So I tried to make a book that explains Taekwondo Poomsae in a more friendly and detailed way. I wanted to explain important connecting movements in Poomsae, show the connection between movements, and ultimately teach the use of body movement and power in Poomsae.
With that intention, I filmed the connection between movements in the form, filmed the beginning of the body movement, and filmed the very important principles and movements again. Then I included the photos and the video using a smartphone app in the book. 《Taekwondo Official Poomsae Commentary 2》 will be the best guidebook to referees, referees, and beginners who are learning Taekwondo for the first time as well as instructors who teach Taekwondo.
