This is a used snare.The hoops and lugs could use a good cleaning / polishing. It is hard to tell how many ply this shell is with the hoops and heads on.  I believe this shell is maple. This is just a guess.  The throw is of decent quality. The snare wires will need to be adjusted. The wire's string looks somewhat old and in need of being replaced. The shell measures 14 x 6 and has eight lugs. The snare has a Remo Weatherking Pin Stripe head on top and a Remo WeatherKing Ambassador Snare head on the bottom. I believe you can get some play time out of the current heads before having to buy new ones. The snare weighs roughly 6 lbs 5 ozs before being packaged.
