Recording, playback, zoom, cassette loading/ejecting, viewfinder/LCD display, and NightShot infrared light all work properly. The NightShot light turns on manually and works as it should.

Note: Battery charger is not included. The camera works with the included AC adapter from the wall. If you want to use it with the battery, you will need to buy a separate NP-F battery charger. They are usually around $10 on eBay.
