💙⏱️🔥 RARE ELGIN U.S.A. ANTIQUE LADIES WATCH MOVEMENT & PORCELAIN DIAL 🔥⏱️💙
An absolutely beautiful and genuinely early American watchmaking piece here — a rare antique Elgin National Watch Company ladies watch movement paired with a striking white porcelain dial and ornate original hands. After taking a much closer look at the movement engravings and serial details, this is correctly identified as an Elgin U.S.A. movement, serial 333514, not a generic or unknown maker. Elgin serial-number references place movement numbers in this range in the mid-1870s, making this a true early American antique watch component.
This little movement has tremendous visual charm. The back shows the classic warm gilt finish collectors love, with U.S.A. engraved on the plate and the elegant script maker’s mark that matches Elgin’s early engraved movement style. The movement serial 333514 is clearly visible in the photos. The porcelain dial is absolutely gorgeous, with deep cobalt-blue Arabic numerals, fine gold and silver dot accents around the perimeter, and wonderfully delicate original hands that give it refined feminine appeal. This is exactly the sort of piece that advanced collectors, restorers, and jewelry watch buyers notice immediately.
This came from the estate of a top Rolls-Royce engineer who owned millions in rare worldwide collectibles. Many items from this extraordinary estate were purchased in places like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Pakistan, and some were never released in the USA. I am currently liquidating thousands of remarkable estate pieces, so please follow my eBay store and check my other listings.
The movement is correctly identified as Elgin National Watch Company, marked U.S.A., with serial 333514. The dial appears unsigned, which is very common on antique ladies watches of this type, with the maker identified on the movement rather than the dial. Style: antique ladies watch movement / parts or repair. Features: early American Elgin movement, gilt finish, porcelain dial, cobalt-blue numerals, ornate original hands, antique U.S. watchmaking appeal. Elgin was one of the largest and most important American watch manufacturers, and pieces from this early production period remain highly collectible today.
Condition is honest antique estate-found condition and should be reviewed very carefully in all photos. Please study every picture closely because they are a major part of the description. The movement shows age, patina, oxidation, wear, and old storage residue. The dial has visible age-related wear, edge darkening, scattered spots, and general antique handling marks. I have not represented this as serviced or guaranteed running, so it should be purchased as parts or repair, restoration stock, or as a display piece for an advanced collection.
What makes this one especially exciting is the presentation. Most loose antique movements are mechanically interesting but visually plain. This one is not. The bright blue numeral porcelain dial, the rich gilt movement, and the confirmed Elgin identification give it real collector appeal. It is delicate, authentic, and full of genuine 19th-century character.
Please review all item photos carefully and message me anytime with any questions. I ship extremely fast, pack professionally and securely, and I have sold over 1,000 estate items this year. I am currently going through several very large estates, and buyers are getting some amazing prices on rare material.
