This dramatic vintage pendant necklace features a very large fancy shaped cognac Baltic Amber stone in a sterling silver setting.

The silver frame at the back bears a Polish hallmark, in the form of the post-1963 head and 925G which tells us it is sterling silver grade and was manufactured in Gdansk. The makers initials are AZ. With Gdansk being the world capital of the finest quality Baltic amber, this marks truly testifies as to the authenticity of this incredible piece.

The warm cognac amber is truly mesmerising to look at and stands hugely proud of its setting, with an intriguing silver caged design to one side. The dramatic design very much captures the modernist look of the 1970's.

The amber pendant has a 2" wide curved tubular silver bail, through which is thread a faux black leather cord, with silver finials and a lobster clasp fastener (stamped 925). Looks SO stylish in wear!!

Measurements: pendant is 2.25" by 1.5" with a max depth of 1". The cord necklace is approx 18".

This piece is a fine addition to any jewellery collection, exuding modernist style.
