Collectors seeking antique toys often pursue the vintage Schuco Varianto 3045 Cabriolet cars. These Schuco Varianto 3045 Cabriolets are a fantastic find. These are two of the three I am selling: one blue and one tan together, and a blue one alone in another listing. These two 3045 Cabriolets show the blending of Schuco craftsmanship with reliable performance. The blue Cabriolet is in great condition, except for the right seat, as shown in the photos, and it runs smoothly. The tan Cabriolet shows wear after 65 years of use. Don't miss the chance to own this exceptional, unique piece!
Schreyer & Co. (Schuco), founded in 1912 in Nuremberg, Germany, entered the toy market in the 1920s with the Pick-Pick wind-up bird.
Schreyer & Co., later known as Schuco, produced the Varianto line of toys from just after 1945 to 1960. These were made in West Germany after May 1949. Many older collectors are drawn to these wind-up toys if they remember playing with them as kids. The Schuco Varianto 3045 Cabriolet is a prized find and well worth the price. I do not recall ever seeing another like this for sale on eBay. Since I have been selling or buying Schuco items, I am the only person selling Schuco Varianto 3045 Cabriolets.
