Very cottagecore/countrycore-looking vintage wooden roll-top little sewing case with carry handle on top.  Inside is a small tray on one side to hold thread spools. There is remnant of what appears to be a possibly leafy design that has faded above the roll-top handle. 

You could certainly use this for other purposes.

Counting handle when up height is approx. 11 1/4" high and when handle down case is approx. 9 3/4" high.  Handle itself is approx. 11 1/4" wide.  Case is approx. 8 3/4" deep at deepest point x 10 3/4" wide at widest point.

Unbranded, unknown place of manufacture.  Has been in my family for years.
