Halco

The stable Sorcerer performs its job equally successfully as a trolling and casting lure. Thanks to the interchangeable diving blade, the wobbler can be used in very different water depths. The characteristic feature is the shaky running in combination with the rocking of the whole body (body roll).

Halco diving blades are made from the same material used in the production of bulletproof glass. That’s what makes them so extremely resilient! Thanks to the clever mechanism, the diving shovel can be changed in seconds on some models and yet remains rock-solid. The bait can then be fished in different water depths using different diving blades.

Halco Sorcerer 35

This small bait is available as a standard version (STD) with an additional diving scoop. Use the STD version when you want to fish deep in the weeds or between obstacles, preventing wary fish from taking cover.
Tow or cast the Sorcerer 35 at 0.5 - 4 knots for best results.

Halco Sorcerer 52

Cast for small predatory fish. The bait's strong buoyancy makes it easy to pull. Troll it at 0.5 - 4 knots or cast it out and twitch every now and then to show it off at its best.
Two diving blades enable applications in shallow and deep water.

Halco Sorcerer 68

Cast or troll the Sorcerer 68, it can be used successfully for both types of fishing. The buoyancy of the lure makes it ideal for fishing close to the bottom in shallow locations. It is easy to fish around obstacles. Tow it at least 20 meters from the boat and limit speed to about 3 knots. When trolling extremely slowly, use twitching rod movements for extra action. Can be successfully fished for a range of small freshwater and saltwater predators.
If you switch to heavier or lighter hooks, be aware that this may affect the effectiveness of the bait. The lures are equipped with specific hooks and the weight, resistance and size of the hooks can affect the action and buoyancy of a particular lure. Anglers around the world have different needs, but remember to monitor the action and buoyancy of the lure to ensure it does not alter the lure's running characteristics.

Halco Sorcerer 90 & 125

This amazing bait is considered Australia's best barramundi bait and is incredibly versatile. The four depths range from less than a meter to over 8 meters. The tight Sorcerer Shimmy Action is the ideal trigger for bites and the butter knife tail leaves the hook particularly exposed. Trolling speeds of 1 knot to 5 knots are ideal and twitching the rod at low trolling speeds results in a stronger action with more erratic movement.
These are pulled on the diving blade. Halco designed the special compound that went into the diving blade - they are now industry standard.

Halco Sorcerer 150

Although primarily trolled, the 150 size is a great casting lure for large salt and freshwater species. The butterknife tail helps with easy casting and the bait goes to depth quickly. When trolling between obstacles, the lure's buoyancy and butter knife tail allow the lure to easily release from Allen obstacles.
Remove the center hook to allow faster trolling speed. If you want to use heavier hooks, use Mustad 2/0 on the front and back hook holders. Do not attach a hook to the middle pickup. It will upset the balance of the bait and cause snags.
