1920's Original Sheriffs Office Fingerprint Set Ace Fingerprint Pad. This is an actual piece of local law enforcement history. It was a fingerprint pad and base set for fingerprinting local suspects and criminals. The unit consists of a wooden Base to hold the fingerprint cards and an ink fingerprint pad made by the Ace Fingerprint company. This is a 1920 s era unit that was used by local lawmen for several decades.

Condition: the base units wood is very well-preserved, but the metal trim areas have tarnish and light rust. The fingerprint pad unit is in very good shape and could be re-inked and reused if desired.
