Iran is diverse in geography which is shown in this unique and beautiful map. A double-sided map with an abundance of information about the formation of the terrain combined with earth-toned colours and shaded relief present this compelling country in a way that demonstrates how its landscape has been so integral in the shaping of its history and culture. On the reverse of the map it look at the Persian Empire in more detail with a timeline and illustrations.
The map is in good condition with some signs of wear and tear especially around the edges of the map with a few small rips. The map appears to be slightly tatty especially around the edges of the map as well as creases and unnecessary folds, otherwise the map appears to be clean with no real marks and or stains. (Please see photos).
The map measures: 31.25 by 20.25 inches.
