Some intentional factory small scrapes and nicks throughout. Waistband has a small piece added at the back which appears to be a minor alteration though it is done very well. And, there are a few loose stitches on the back seam which can easily be reinforced.

Tagged size M though they seem to run on the smaller side and are cut slim. Kindly see all measurements provided below to ensure your best fit.

 DESCRIPTION - Amazing collectible rare pair of jeans from HYSTERIC GLAMOUR. Their classic low-waisted silhouette with signature pyramid studs on right front pocket are estimated circa early 2000s. Expertly made in Japan of course.

 These have elaborate machine-stitched embroidery across upper half of front legs. Excellent quality denim has some stretch. Vintage-inspired medium wash is pretty much perfection.

Other features include button fly and a lovely leather logo waist patch

TOPSTITCHING - Classic Gold

FABRIC - 95% Cotton - 5% Polyurethane 

HARDWARE - Copper Rivets + Nickel Tone Waist Buttons

WASH - Mid/medium washed indigo has a cool worn-in finish with whiskering, strategic fading, a slightly ‘dirty’ overdye on some of the faded areas (including under the embroidery) and wallet outline on left back pocket. 

There are random small nicks and scrapes throughout, including on waistband, upper top block, knee area, lower legs, back pocket corners and back of right leg. Symmetrical horizontal crease marks look intentional - the scraping goes through and shows a little on wrong side/inside of denim but isn’t torn.

CONDITION - Overall very good/near-excellent pre-owned/pre-distressed vintage. Minimal indication of light/gentle previous wear. Vintage look though these do not actually look very worn. Integrity of denim is good, no thinning or stretched out areas. Flat knees. 

All hardware appears intact. Embroidery is excellent. Leather patch is very nice - supple and clean with only the tiniest couple of faint marks if looking closely.

As noted above, there appears to be a small alteration to the back of waistband which was done cleanly. Otherwise original. Also, a few of the back seam stitches are loose. The seam itself is intact but you may want to reinforce to prevent any further loosening of other stitches. 

  MEASUREMENTS - taken both flat across as well as around where applicable. Waist measurement taken with upper edges of front and back of waistband evenly aligned at top. Please read below to ensure your very best fit. Always wise to measure a pair of your own jeans which fit well and compare your measurements to the listing's.

WAISTBAND - 16” (flat/aligned) - 32” around

HIPS - approx. 18.5” flat - 37” around 

RISE - 7.25”

THIGH - approx. 10.5” flat - 21” around (measured across uppermost area directly beneath front seam, adjacent to crotch/inseam then tapers downward)

INSEAM - 32”

KNEE - approx. 6.75” flat - 13.5” around (depending on your height)

LEG OPENING - 6.25” flat - 12.5” around
