Haunted Paranormal Vintage 11" Poter 1988 Musical Moving Doll - Jessie- plays Its a Small World - Positive, loves animals , plays notes on her own and sometimes move without the music playing.
We purchased Jessie at an antique shop on a trip to Gettysburg. Pulled off an exit to eat and noticed a cute little what we assume Weekend only antique shop. When we walked in the energy in there felt different. Didnt take long before we were standing in front of a curio filled with dolls. Was like she drew us right to her. As we stood looking at them we heard a few notes of music. Couldnt tell which behind the glass and the store owner walked over and when we asked which was musical, he said only one and got her out. As soon as I picked her up I was sold, I could feel a loving energy, positive, calm and relaxed. We left with just her but since Gettysburg is filled with spirit friends, didnt communicate till we got home to avoid another interfering.
When we got her home the air stayed cool in the room with her and the atmosphere seemed upbeat. We heard her music playing a few notes throughout the evening without us having wound her since we bought her. Going in we found her spun half way around from the direction we had set her. Was like she wanted to spin around to look out the windows. We decided to communicate that evening instead of waiting and as we got our equipment unpacked noticed the movement of her head without the music playing. When we told her we saw, she played two notes of her song.
As we started to turn everything on, we heard a female voice through the spirit box say " Found me there ". When we asked if she meant we found her in the store her response was , " Only ones ". Checking the night vision screen we noticed a white mist form above the doll, and a pulsating orb slowly rise up before it disappeared. We started communicating with our equipment and she responded quickly to our questions by lighting up the K2 to yellow and orange when we asked yes and no questions and the Mel meter rose up to 4.9. We found out she was female, did live and die right outside Gettysburg , was married, 3 children and passed away only in her 60's. The only answer from the spirit box was to the question of her name. " Jessie " came through. We reviewed our EVP's later to find the same voice saying " with I E ".She was letting us know to spell her name with IE and not a Y. We talked to her for almost 2 hrs the first time and multiple times after. She does love to be acknowledged regularly and at least once or twice a week she'll play a few notes for us..
Please note, as some have questioned a spirit not interacting with them in items they have purchased from other sellers, spirits have their own personalities, sometimes it does take them a day or two or even longer to adjust to their new surroundings. They dont do parlor tricks and if they choose to hold off on interacting, it is their right to do so. They Do Not perform on command. They should be treated with the respect they deserve and patience because in some cases it was not their choice or preference to stay among us.
I do start my bidding at just above the cost of what I paid for my items, as to cover the costs of selling. I dont believe in hiking them up, the bidding is your decision and rehoming the items is my goal. If for some reason payment cant be made within the first 3 days, please
contact me to let me know, I dont mind waiting but, otherwise I assume
you have changed your mind and will relist the item.
