The Outwell Dakota Shelter M is a versatile, lightweight camping shelter designed to create a comfortable outdoor living space for camping, festivals, events and family days in the sun. With its freestanding design and quick pitching system, this practical shelter can be set up in minutes, giving you instant shade and protection wherever your adventure takes you.
Crafted with durable Outtex® 1500 Select Silver polyester, the Dakota Shelter M features a silver-coated flysheet that reflects heat while delivering UPF 50+ UV protection, helping to keep you cool and protected on sunny days. The 1500mm hydrostatic head provides protection against light rain.
Designed for flexibility, the shelter includes two fixed side panels for wind protection and two fully openable sides that allow you to adapt airflow, views, and access throughout the day. The door comes with an additional full mesh door behind it offers excellent bug-free ventilation perfect for relaxed outdoor dining or lounging.
Inside, the generous entrance height and excellent headroom create a bright, airy space where you can stand and move comfortably. Mesh storage pockets help keep small essentials organised, while a lantern hanging point allows you to easily add lighting for cosy evenings outdoors.
Despite its spacious design, the gazebo remains highly portable. Duratec fibreglass poles (11–12.7 mm) provide strong structural support, while the lightweight construction keeps the total weight to just 7.2 kg. It packs down neatly into a compact 68 x 18 x 18 cm carry bag, making it easy to transport and store between trips.
The Dakota Shelter M is also part of Outwell’s Caring Choice range, featuring PFAS-free water repellence for a more environmentally conscious design.

Delivery on most of our products is completely free to the mainland UK.

The Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. Time Frame
Most courier deliveries take place between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We cannot give time slots.
Re-delivery charges
In situations where deliveries have failed on two occasions due to customers not being present to take delivery of the goods a re-delivery charge may apply. This will be at the choice of both us as the vendor and the courier depending on circumstances.
Damages
Please check the contents of your order. All damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Contact us through ebay messaging service and attach images for a quick resolution.
Customers have 30 days to return goods for refund.
Change of mind
If you change your mind, please open a ‘returns request'. It is the customers responsibility to return the goods within 30 days of the date of purchase. Goods must be new, unused and in re-salable condition.
Goods arriving to our warehouse in non-resalable condition or damaged will be subject to a restocking fee of at least 20%.
Palletised and heavy items
Contact us for a quote on the return of heavy or palletised items.
Exchange
We do not offer exchanges on returned items. Customers will need to place a new order for the correct item.
Incorrect Item Delivery
In the event of a mis-pick please contact us directly to resolve the issue. Opening a case with eBay or a payment dispute will take longer to settle.
