Lovely large old rope-tension drum, probably dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s.
Features a dark metal shell (likely brass alloy with nice aged patina), red painted wooden counterhoops, traditional rope lacing with leather tension ears, metal hardware, and original aged calfskin heads.
Pencil signature on the top of the drum.
Solid survivor with honest wear and great character. Perfect for display or gentle restoration. Not a modern copy.
Condition: Original unrestored with expected patina, rope ageing and minor scuffs. Slight crack in top wooden ring as shown in pictures.
Dimensions: 12 inch tall - 13 inch diameter.

Thanks for looking.
