This terrific antique milking stool has been recently recovered from within a local barn. It stands 12 3/4” tall, has a 9 7/8” diameter seat and the three legs seem to just flow to the ground. It is sturdy, strong and relatively heavy considering it has a reasonably small stature.

There is a hole that looks to have been drilled in the seat for I don’t know what reason.

This stool has been painted black. I see several drips especially on the seat. Personally, I would strip it and repaint it.

If you are in the market for some fantastic antique farmhouse country décor or know someone who is, this rusty milking stool would make for sensational addition to any setting.
