Antique Dresden Hand Painted Watteau Scenes Yellow & Gold 7 7/8 Inch Jar / Urn
Nice antique German porcelain jar / urn. Decorated in alternating panels with hand painted Dresden flowers over yellow and scenes with hand painted Watteau scenes / courting couples. Each panel is framed by gold gilt scrollwork designs. Gold gilding to the lid finial. Marked on the bottom with a hand painted underglaze blue scripted R mark.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. No chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide x 7 7/8 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
