I'm selling this vintage blue dress suit for a good friend. She purchased it in Austria quite a few years ago, finding it comfortable and appropriate for her duties as a choral conductor. Since last wearing it about 20 years ago, it has hung safe and protected in a non-smoking, no-pet home.
• EU size 42 is equivalent to a US size 6 in a lady's dress suit. The owner states that when she wore it, she was 5' 7" tall and was a "B"-sized bust.
All measurements are approximate
• Jacket - 21" from top of collar to bottom edge in the back, 15.5" across the shoulders with 23.5" sleeve length, 16" across the front, armpit to armpit.
• Skirt - 28" long, 31" circumference, with a center-front pleat. There is a tiny, maybe 1/4" flaw, just to the right of the front seam at the top of the pleat (last 2 images)
• As the label inside the jacket states (Image 5) the material is "pure wool" with a viscose (rayon?) liner.
• All the metal buttons are intact and there appears to be no missing stitches, tears or other damage or excessive wear.
• Total weight (not counting hanger) approx. 34 oz.
• Includes vintage Setwell wooden hanger with trouser clamp.
