Chawner & Co London Sterling Silver Monogrammed Shell Fork C.1835 B

Antique mid 19th century British sterling silver fork with repousse shell handle. Engraved scripted HMD monogram on the front of the handle below the shell. Hallmarks on the back of the handle for Chawner & Co (GA for George William Adams for Chawner & Co), London, sterling, and date mark S for 1853.

Has some wear and tarnish, but otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 7/8 inches wide x 6 7/8 inches long.
