This is for a new new Glitch Works GW-48T02-1 NVRAM repair modules. These modules are used to replace the entire CAPHAT assembly on a dead Mostek/ST MK48T02 NVRAM, commonly found in older Sun computer systems. This listing is for the assembled repair board and CR1225 battery. The third picture illustrates the module installed on a recycled MK48T02 NVRAM, but the NVRAM IC is not included in the listing. This project is Open Source Hardware. The design files are linked in the project description page, linked below These modules will work on a number of Mostek/ST 24-pin clock/NVRAM ICs, but were designed for MK48T02s. DO NOTE: these modules make use of a primary lithium cell and will be marked as such for shipping. Modules shipped to US addresses will come with the CR1225 cell uninstalled to limit battery drain while not in use. Due to USPS regulations, modules shipped to international addresses must be shipped with the CR1225 installed in the GW-48T02-1. If you will be storing the GW-48T02-1 for a long period before using it, it is recommended to remove the CR1225 and store it separately to limit discharge.
