Designed for supported IBM server and storage systems and other platforms that accept 2.5" SAS hard drives.
Avoid compatibility mistakes and downtime. This exact IBM enterprise 2.5" SAS hard drive is sold as eBay Refurbished, professionally tested, and identified by the correct IBM part number 00Y2682, model ST300MM0006, and identifier 9WE066-039 so you can validate fitment before deployment and order with confidence.
Built for business and datacenter environments, this 300GB 10K SAS-2 drive is a practical choice for server replacements, RAID arrays, hot spares, and inventory stocking where matching interface, form factor, and part numbers matters.
This drive is fully tested and verified for proper operation prior to shipment. Our goal is simple: deliver a reliable enterprise hard drive that’s ready for installation and backed by the protections associated with the eBay Refurbished program.
Typical validation includes:
Power-on / initialization verification
Health check and functional read/write verification
Interface detection and stability confirmation
Interface: SAS-2 (Serial Attached SCSI)
Form Factor: 2.5-inch enterprise drive
Important: This is SAS, not SATA. A SATA-only backplane or controller will not accept a SAS drive.
For server installs, confirm controller/backplane compatibility, firmware expectations, and whether you need a specific tray, caddy, or carrier for your chassis.
If you’re replacing an existing drive, matching the IBM part number 00Y2682, model ST300MM0006, and identifier 9WE066-039 helps reduce ordering errors and speeds up approval for production installs.
