Vintage Karl Hofner 15 inch Viola. I believe it was made around 1937, based on the label. Solid condition, no cracks or visible repairs. Finish appears to be original, has plenty of wear, and small bubbles throughout. If you look at the indoor pics, it gives a better idea of the surface. Has a new bridge, new Kaplan strings, and a Wittnauer composite tailpiece. I'm moving and I don't have time to play anymore, so I'm throwing in a new Johnson graphite bow, a shoulder rest, and some rosin. Not sure if case is original, the lock is broken. I'm not much of a Viola player but it seems to have a very good, resonant, loud and full sound. Will be carefully packed in and outside of case. Make an offer, need to sell!
