Vintage Glycine Compressor

Nice. Just the watch pictured, nothing else -no strap.

Slightly worn. Marks throughout. Either the movement, or the automatic pendulum seems a little loose. A gentle tap comes from the case when the watch is shifted in any direction. I'd have that corrected if possible. I took a video demonstrating this phenomenon, upon request. But it's self explanatory. A slight rattle. For this reason, I am listing it as a repair. Continued use in this situation could eventually damage the movement.

Back has an inscription: "FOREVER & EVER"

The watch is still ticking, so it's keeping up its end of the bargain.

Over one hour, it has kept very accurate time. But, no guarantee on the daily accuracy. It most certainly could use a service. I will keep it wound and be monitoring it until it sells. I will add any anomaly that shows up right here. If nothing follows these three asterisks then it stayed accurate for at least 24 hours (3/25/26)***

The date changes crisply. No date setting from the stem. Must back the hour hand to approximately 9 o'clock to fast set the date.

I can hear it ticking but it's not an annoying ticking sound. More like a light springy hum. No tick tick tick sound.

Seconds do not stop when crown is pulled out to set the watch (Does not hack.)

Lug width approximately 17mm for strap size.

No mention on the watch of water resistance besides "Compressor". Treat it like water is to be avoided.
