Offered for sale is very unique pro / on-ice quality jersey from the Michigan Tech Huskies.  This jersey is a prototype that was produced by CCM (pro quality, made in Canada) when they tried to secure the contract to produce jerseys to be worn by all four teams at the 1994 Great Lakes Invitational (GLI) hockey tournament (Michigan, Michigan State, Cornell also participated that year) played at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.  CCM had previously been providing the home / road game jerseys for the Huskies.  Ultimately the contract for the four teams went to another supplier, making this a very unique one-off jersey.

As with all CCM pro / on-ice jerseys of that era, the jersey cresting and numbers are high quality, stacked, multi-layer sewn twill.  The CCM block logo is embroidered directly onto the back hem of the jersey.  It is a tagged as a size 52 in the neck, however it measures 27" across the chest which would make it actually a size 54.

I have owned this jersey for 15 years since obtaining it from a CCM sales rep, who had it in their collection since the jersey was created.  Recently I was able to obtain one of the actual game jerseys from that year, so I'm making this prototype from my personal collection available.  PLEASE NOTE:  The GLI patch shown on the front was obtained with the jersey, but it remains LOOSE just as I obtained it.  The patch was simply laid on the jersey for the photographs.

Be sure to see my other listings for more great game worn jerseys.  We have more than 1000 game worn jerseys available from nearly every current men's D-I hockey team.  Looking for a particular team or style?  Just shoot us a message.  We ship worldwide and fully insured.

NOTE:  I am also willing to trade for other Michigan Tech game worn hockey jerseys in a effort to add new styles to my collection.
