The factory cold-side pipe for the 2006-2010 Duramax features numerous restrictive bends that greatly decrease flow. The 3.5” diameter of this intercooler pipe provides a significant increase in airflow that results in more power and lower EGTs. Compared to normal silicone, these boots provide superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil.
